Christ, the Only Way In

Acts 3:1-12 · 43 min

In Acts 3:1-12 we find the story of the man born lame who was begging at the entrance of the temple known as the "Beautiful Gate". That physical gate was covered in great riches and external beauty, but it was unable to heal the man or transform his condition.

In the temple there was an abundance of Gold and Silver, something that Peter and John did not have. However, Peter and John demonstrated that silver and gold cannot restore the soul; only the name and presence of Jesus Christ open the true way in to freedom, forgiveness, and salvation.

Key biblical passage: "But Peter said, 'Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.'" (NKJV) Acts 3:6

In this sermon you will learn about:

• The contrast between the Beautiful Gate of the temple and the beauty of Christ.

• Why human resources (silver and gold) are insufficient for the soul's need.

• Jesus Christ as the only way and direct access to the presence of the Father.

• The healing of spiritual paralysis and the call to rise up in faith.

Sermons are preached in Spanish. YouTube can show automatic English subtitles.
