The Danger of Discontentment

1 Thessalonians 5:18 · 1 h 21 min

Discontentment is one of the greatest enemies of our delight. Focusing on what we don't have leads us to be in a constant attitude of complaint and to feel that nothing we have is enough.

A discontented heart loses gratitude and runs the risk of setting its eyes on what does not please the Lord.

Let's learn to present ourselves before the Lord with thanksgiving and delight in the Lord's blessings, in His mercy that is renewed every day and in everything the Lord has put in our hands.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 NKJV: "Give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus".
