The Firmness of Obedience

Acts 21:1-14 · 28 min

Acts 21:1-14

In Acts 21, we see one of the most moving scenes in the life of Paul. He knew that going to Jerusalem meant prisons and tribulations. His friends, his spiritual family, cried and begged him not to go.

But Paul teaches us three vital things in this passage: 1️⃣ Priority: When he arrived in Tyre, he didn't look for tourism, he looked for the church. Your spiritual nutrition must be the first thing, wherever you are. 2️⃣ Discernment: Sometimes, the people who love you the most will advise you out of their fear, not out of God's purpose. 3️⃣ Determination: "Let the will of the Lord be done" (NKJV). There is no safer place than the center of God's will, even if that means a storm.

Are you willing to follow His voice, even if others try to stop you?
