Acts 21:1-14
This passage narrates one of the most tense moments in the life of apostle Paul. His journey to Jerusalem was a direct journey towards prison and suffering.
Paul's response in verse 13: "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus"; shows us how, despite the pain of goodbye, his commitment to Christ was superior to his instinct of self-preservation.
It is important to discern when people advise us out of their own fears and when the advice comes from the Lord's purpose.
God's will takes us through paths that break our humanity but fulfill the eternal purpose.
In the end, there is no safer place than God's will, even if that means going through the storm.
Sermons are preached in Spanish. YouTube can show automatic English subtitles.
